This renovation stopped just short of a full teardown. The home was completely gutted, rewired, repiped, reroofed, etc. The masonry wall with custom steel inserts, doors and gates elevated the property alone, creating a visually appealing solution to privacy and safety concerns that come with the area. The landscaping creates a low maintenance, yet useful and aesthetic experience. Several additions and floor plan adjustments turned this house from functionally obsolete to a home where you want to spend your time. The oak flooring was preserved throughout the entire construction process and refinished in the end to tie in the original charm of the home.
